In memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals, The Peter Zippi Fund For Animals was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos. We have adopted out over 14,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. The fund sponsors medical treatment, shelter, and adoptions for lost and homeless animals. | ||

"All PZF cats are healthy, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date with shots, fecal and FELV/FIV tested." WE OFTEN OFFER HARD-TO-PLACE AND SPECIAL-NEEDS ANIMALS *********** PET OF THE MONTH Hi! I'm Donovan #
PZF 59J When Donovan was examined by his vet, his blood test showed positive for FIV. But he is in excellent health, and in an indoor-only home with proper food and preventative medical care, Donovan can live a long and wonderful life, He is very smart, and comes to you when you whistle for him! FIV is transmitted through deep bites, so Donovan should be an only cat or be homed with other FIV+ cats. FIV is not contagious to dogs, so a home with a feline-friendly canine would be great for Donovan --- after the proper introduction, of course! Donovan was born around the first week of July 2010. He is a young playful guy with plenty of energy, so he may not be suitable in a home with small children. Donovan is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations appropriate for his age. If you'd like to give Donovan an indoor-only forever home, please call or email The Peter Zippi Fund, and please provide your phone number so our adoption coordinator can contact you. And if you have any questions about FIV, we will be happy to provide information! Contact: The Peter Zippi Fund *********** Make checks payable to: Peter Zippi Fund OR
